Kerry Von Erich, was a professional wrestler. He was part of the Von Erich family of wrestlers. He is best known for his time with his father's promotion World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), where he spent 11 years of his career, and his time in World Wrestling Federation (WWF), under the ring name the Texas Tornado. Adkisson held 40 championships in various promotions during his career. Among other accolades, he was a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, four-time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion, making him an overall five-time world champion and one-time WWF Intercontinental Champion.
Kerry died by suicide with a gunshot to the heart w/ a .44 caliber pistol on Feb 18, 1993, on his father's ranch in Denton County, Texas, shortly after his 33rd birthday. He was found by his father, who stated that his last words to him were "Dad, I love you", before hugging him and going to the woods to take his own life.
He was portrayed by Jeremy Allen White in the A24 movie The Iron Claw
